為幫助自費(fèi)出國留學(xué)人員正確選擇國外學(xué)習(xí)學(xué)校，加強(qiáng)對(duì)自費(fèi)留學(xué)中介活動(dòng)的監(jiān)管，引導(dǎo)自費(fèi)留學(xué)中介機(jī)構(gòu)與國外正規(guī)學(xué)校開展合作，教育部公布了37個(gè)我國公民主要留學(xué)1萬多所學(xué)校名單，基本涵蓋了我公民主要留學(xué)目的地國正規(guī)高等學(xué)校。所公布名單根據(jù)有關(guān)情況定期調(diào)整，目前為第三十四版，更新時(shí)間為2012年12月26日。以下為新西蘭的高等教育的基本情況和被中國教育部認(rèn)可的新西蘭高校名單。

一、新西蘭高等教育的基本情況

新西蘭的高等教育機(jī)構(gòu)包括、理工和教育。

到目前為止，新西蘭共有8所公立。這些開辦一系列的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)學(xué)位課程，其中包括理科、文科和近年來興起的商科和信息科學(xué)。

新西蘭的理工目前共有19所，提供各種職業(yè)及技術(shù)培訓(xùn)，包括短期課程和三年制、四年制的專業(yè)學(xué)位、文憑、證書課程。部分理工和可以互相轉(zhuǎn)換學(xué)分(例如商科)，學(xué)生在理工所修某些課程學(xué)分為所承認(rèn)，其畢業(yè)后入讀可以免修有關(guān)課程。

新西蘭有4所獨(dú)立的教育，由撥款，承擔(dān)為小學(xué)、中學(xué)、幼兒教育中心和特殊教育機(jī)構(gòu)培訓(xùn)師資的任務(wù)。

新西蘭的學(xué)位由新西蘭校長(zhǎng)委員會(huì)下設(shè)的學(xué)術(shù)委員會(huì)批準(zhǔn)，而理工及極少數(shù)私立高等教育學(xué)校所授的文憑由新西蘭資格認(rèn)證局 (NZQA) 負(fù)責(zé)審批和監(jiān)督。

新西蘭還有許多招收外國學(xué)生的私立培訓(xùn)機(jī)構(gòu)及語言學(xué)校。通過新西蘭資格認(rèn)證局 (NZQA) 審批的學(xué)校名單可查閱NZQA網(wǎng)站：www.nzqa.govt.nz。
