My name is Drew Trainor. I’m from a small farming community in British Columbia, Canada, called Armstrong. It’s been three years of teaching English in China since I’ve been back to see the gorgeous scenery of my hometown. Life was pretty simple there; I enjoyed playing hockey in the winter, swimming in the summer, and playing music all throughout the year. In China I spend most of my time living like a true Wuhanese; eating all the tasty snacks and interacting with the locals (I never complain about the weather). Being a teacher at Linguaphone has given me an even better opportunity to get to know the people here, as well as offer me the perfect environment for growing as a foreign English teacher while helping my students grow as English speakers.
